SKILLS

I have excellent all round computing skills (with Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista) specifically in the following areas:

Web Design: Ability to hand code HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript using frameworks such as jQuery. I also have solid experience with Photoshop to create web graphics, icons etc and to prototype web site and user interface designs. I also have some experience with AJAX in my effort to make web applications perform as if they were desktop applications.

User Interface Design: I have good experience presenting web forms in a manner that makes them easy to understand and complete, using jQuery validation and controls. I also pay particular attention to navigation with familiarity being a big focus of my designs. I also always ensure sites are cross-browser compatible and can be used in older browsers such as IE6.

Web Development: I have used a variety of programming languages, specifically when developing the front-end. They include ASP.net and PHP as well as database management systems such as MySQL and MS SQL.
